Cyprus is geographically an Asian country. It is an extension of the Anatolian peninsula which is considered a part of Asia.
Israel, Armenia and Azerbaijan are not part of geograhpic Europe. They are to the south of the Caucasus which is the Southern border of Europe.
Kazakhstan has some territories to the West of the Ural mountain, Europe's eastern border, so technically it is partially European.
Of course this is just the geographic definition of Europe. Some people would say Armenia, Cyprus and Israel are "culturally" European.
