As an ASP programmer, I believe that I can perform any changes in this forum, for example I think "Forum Statistics" and "Users Online" sections in Proboards were better than this one here (or at least we are more familiar with that), so I changed it to something like that or the word "Today" for the current date was also a good thing in proboards.

Other suggestions?

A higher number of characters per post would be nice if it is possible.

 

edit: There may be one too many Islamic Empires forums even though I know you guys really like the subject

Hmmm, Cyrus, you checked these wiz web guys here do not [edit - just read a rule about "bad words"] uh, let's say "complain"[/edit] about languages or other, did you?

The adding of gender in the profile, so there can be a difference between king/queen and emperor/empress in the ranks.

Could the character limit on siges be increased?
Say to double (400)?
Would allow for more intresting sig quotes.

I'm not sure if this is already available (if so I failed to find it myself) but could we have something like listing each members' posts from new to old when we access their member page or something? I couldn't find the "notify of replies to this topic" option either and it was very useful. Listing one's subscribed topics for easy access would be a good idea, too.

Now I'm really sorry if this is all readily available. Then some really nice gentleman or gentlewoman should help me find them.

You can use the members list to search for posts by each individual member, though its no different from a regular search, so the results will be displayed as a list of threads, in order of most recent.

You can search for posts on the bar below the person's post or the member list.  Unfortunately the profile does leave something to be desired.  The other things I haven't found.  Unfortunately thse don't seem to be options.  I was poking around the prefernces section.

Is there any way to give the profiles more functionality?  I want to put people on my buddy list, but to do that I have to find a post by them.  I click on the profile, but even that has no way to search for their posts.  Even my buddy list is useless except to get a snapshot of someone or PM them.  I have to find them on the Member List, which will be tedious when we get more members (already is).  i'm seeing what Colchis means by it being VERY tedious!

Is it possible to have a quote button in the reply box so that it is easy to quote statements from differant threads in a reply rather than the way you have to do it now?
