Turkey came out swinging.  It made Germany look rather timid.

Wooooooo, Turkey hit the cross bar who was that, Kazim?
Another good chance for the Turks.

It's great for Turkey but it's gotta pay off for the Turks.  They have to be concerned with conserving energy with the short bench.

Gooooooooooooooooooooooooooool!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Everything is going to the plan for the Turks.   They can sit back a little conserve energy and look for counter, which is their strength.

Gooooooooooooooooooooooooooool!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The Pig Mutilator equalizes.

What a game already.

Concerned with the Turks' stamina playing like this but this kinda emotional shoot out game favors the Turks.

Germany needs to take some steam out this game if such thing is possible.

Altintop almost made my prediction come true.    Lehmann's athleticism saves him from bad judgment.

Podolski misses wide open the slam dunk.  The Turks gotta watch out for that when they are pushing up like this.  I don't know if they can play like this whole game.   Sure it's great to watch though.

How ironic, now I need Germany to win for me to win my bet.

They better start playing.Confused

Rolfe draws The First Blood!  Now it's official a War!

Altintop hits one out of the park not in a good way.  But give 2-3 more of those, he's just gauging the target like an artillery man.

First half ended.

That was the fastest 45+ minutes in my life, how about you guys?

German defence is in disarray. This is a poor example of defence, their keeper must feel very frustrated for the support that he *doesn't* receive.

Turkey is the better team in the first  half, let's see if the Germans wake up in the second half.

That was really nice goal by the pig mutilator, outside foot, perfect spin.  But it should have been 3:1 Turkey.  Germany should feel lucky to be tied right now.  But I'm still concerned with the Turks stamina, any more injuries or yellow/red cards.  No margin for those for the Turks.

But who cares.  It's all or nothing, baby!  45 more minutes and they can kiss the Gods.

I expected this match to be boring with Turks being closed in their part. Nothing like that at all!
