My question is a simle qustion, and with this question i don`t want to say anything about the quality of the moderation here.
Just this is interesting to me,
and i dont want to create
a new topic about this simple question.

Half of the moderator are turks, and other half of them are pro turkish. Is this answer enough for you?

Like OguzK.... I gave his text to a Pomak friend of mine who speaks turkish too,and he translated his last post in non-english forum. I wont write it here ..to prevent from another flamme-war... He is the 2nd Turk banned the last 6 months. For example another turkish member called king of Greece in 1920 "malaka"-jerk .And didnt even get a warning. I wonder how many members would be executed if a -same stupid Greek member called Kemal jerk. Anyway. Enough from me about it. I ll be waiting some time for the moderators to take clear decisions:blacklist all provoking threads, expell the flamme-war starters (or just warn) or let all threads free. If the situation stays the same ,i dont think i belong here.

I have noticed some ominous trend in AE these past weeks. As we all
know the Turkish have members have an overwhelming majority in AE. The
ratio of new Turkish members also by far is greater than other
nationalities. Along with this the number of Turkey-related threads
(stupid threads...),
those that spread the greatness of Turks, Turkey etc...have greatly
increased (I usually skip the "Steppe" part of the forum nowadays).
Along
with this, since the topics have been blacklisted I have witnessed a
general drop in the number of active participation of Greeks,
Armenians, Kurds and Iranians. When I first started in AE, in January
almost
all of the Turk-related threads have been checked and re-checked by
Armenian, Assyrian, Greek, Iranian members, so not to contain material
that may be offensive to either of those nationalities or absurd just
in on itself. Lately however, presence of non-Turk members on Turkish
threads has been greatly diminshed. Many "arguable" posts are not
corrected by "outsiders" anymore. Some old (Turkish) members I have
witnessed (DayI, Seko, Mortaza ) try to keep the inaccuracies to a
mnimum, but still, there are many inaccuracies and a Turk doesnt
criticize a Turk all the time (while and Armenian or a Greek can :)).
The most bothersome part of this is that most new members are obsessed
with the Turkic world, opening threads only about Turks, posting only
in those.
There is a vast amount of information in AE, many of these Turkish
posts, attract even more new Turkish members, most of those again, obsessed
with Turks only, not caring about history of others.
I am afraid, given enough time, AE will be divided into people who like history, and those obsessed with the greatness of the Turks.
Meanwhile, I think AE, unwittingly is shying away Armenian, Greek,
Assyrian members, and those who try to argue the black pages in Turkey's
past. By nature, Armenian students would want to discuss the Genocide
because it is a very important event in our history, and I am assuming
there are similar topics in Greek history. Moreover, the lack of these
topics in "active topics" due to the blacklist would not enable
newcomers of other nationalities to be aquianted with these topics, since
I doubt someone from Mali would suddenly make a search for the
"Armenian Genocide" out of thin air, or about "kurds" whom he/she has
probably never heard of.
In conjunction with this, the lack of control already evident on some
Turkish threads is only going to mislead these new members, there is a
limit to which old Turkish members can fix the errors of the new.
At last I would like to say, that I do not want the Armenian
Genocide specifically to be withdrawn from the blacklisted, mainly
because Turks outnumber Armenian about 10:1 on this forum, and it would
be hard to keep track of all the "Armenian Genocide is a lie" threads.
Note that this post is not supposed to be an anti-Turk thread, just pointing out an observation, comment on :)
