We've recently selected two new moderators: MengTzu and Vagabond, both highly respected by the staff body for their neutrality on issues, and willingness to discuss serious matters regarding the operation of this forum. Congrats.

Since Cyrus has fixed the bug displaying the moderators in the forum index, I'd first like announce officially this, and that we've greatly restructured the moderators body, as now all active moderators have been given powers to all forum sections, with a fully visible title. Since we have a lot of moderators, we will not promote any new moderators directly to this status as of now, and probably not any time soon.

However, we can consider allowing more users to participate among "mod society".

The most important quality is the willingness to discuss and analyze forum issues such as user violations.

  nah mainly because of the wide range  of topics you can fit in that forum...most forums are only visited by the same group of people who are interested in that subject, whilst the modern history section's visited by almost everyone.
