Why does the Roman Empire start in 60 AD? 27 or 510 BC would be more logical. The end date could be either 476 ot 1453.
Depending on what years you pick i't 503, 986, 1425 or 1963 years.
Another possible candidate is the Holy Roman Empire: 800 to 1806, though it was real empire any more since the 13th century.

Sassanina Persia did not last long, between the Selucids and the Sassanids there were the Parthians from ...well I dont know the dates. Also you could argue the Britihs empire started in the 15-1600's and didnt end until...well I guess it hasnt really ended yet when you count the territiories they still posses like Falkands and Bermuda.

Even if you just take the Byzantium period alone, that's a hell of a long time. One candidate for the shortest must be Alexander's.

The Parthian Empire lasted way longer than 24 years. It went a few centuries.
Shortest empire is probably Alexander's Empire.
Longest is probably the Byzantine Empire.

The First Mexican empire that lasted 8 months.
The extension of the empire was 4 million square kilometers. From the limits with Oregon to the border with Panama, that was part of the Great Colombia.

Mongol Empire's prime started at 1279AD!!(The empire came to existance at 1206 under Temujin) When Yuan annexed the
rest of Song. Get the facts right! Also the decline started
at 1368 and the final Mongol empire in foreign soil was wiped out at
1502. Plus the Mongol empire wasn't completely destroyed until mid 1600s

The Ottoman Empire surely held a big time period of time. The Beylik became offically indipendent with the end of Anatolai Seljuk rule, 1299. Osman Beg, the son of Ertugrul Beg who was the Chief of Kay tribe, which was one of the Oguz (Turkmen) tribes and he was placed at Karacada in central Anatolia during the Anatolian Seljuk rule as an "U Beg".
The Beylik appeared in St and Domani south eastern Marmar region. But firstly the son of Osman Beg, Orkhan Beg made the Beglik a country from a Turkish state. And this country ended as an empire in 1923, with the end of the dynasty and the republic system...

The Seljuk Empire lasted in 1157. but if we take Seljuks of Rum as the western part of the Empire, and it is, the empire ended in 1308, after the invasion of Ilhanl and another hugeTurkmen migration to Anatolia from Oguz steppes.
