Don't know if someone of you is watching this year's Tour de France.
After the third doping case, the Tour once again will sink into the bog.

The newsest generation of EPO was used by the the three convicted cyclists. But obvious the WADA (World Anti Doping Agency) has found a way to debunk the betray.

After the doping-scandals of the previous Tours this is only another sign, that the drivers are not ready to drive on a clean road.

It's a pitty, but another reason for me , to abjure my beloved sport. But now i have time to take my bike and do my circuit.

I'm right there with you Ulrich. I'm sick and tired of certain idiots feeling like they can get away with it. This is the main thing I don't understand - you ride in the most drug tested sport in the world, in the most drug tested event in that sport, yet you're going to try anyway. I mean, tour organizers and French police test anybody who does anything even remotely noteworthy, and THEN, they randomly drug test others. Remember Michael Rasmussen from last year who was thrown out of the tour and suspended by his team because his whereabouts were unknown and undocumented for a few days, which led to the suspicion of cheating.

At this point in cycling history you've got to be pretty stupid to keep trying to use blood doping to win, with all the countermeasures put in place.

Yes, but the only reason that cyclists are caught and in other sports are not, it is because the tests for anti-doping are far more advanced...and anyway, with all those scandals you see people along the road (very much indeed); watch how many people will be on the Alps now. Even with all this doping cycling will never die Wink

Since collapse of communist block and following this collapse of "Peace Race" I stopped wathing or even read news about this sport. Now it's rather chemistry than sport.

Then please tell me, why cycling is and other's are not. It is the same as any other sport, but far more difficult...
