   hell i'm begining to get sick of this...

you guys placed a limit on the size already...and now you're limiting it even further? i can't recognise my sig pic now..'cause half of it's gone..

    hey why not get rid of sif pics altogether?  maybe then we can finally be as dull as SMQ...

     tell me...with a limit of this sort...how are we supposed to find pics that fits?

Yes, I do admit that the sig size was decreased. 

I think 125 height (or may even smaller) is a more reasonable height. 250 takes up half the screen in 800x600 resolution.

tell me...with a limit of this sort...how are we supposed to find pics that fits?

You can always make your own sig (that fits the size contraints, of course!). Seriously, though, I think people get sick of seeing big sigs over and over again pretty quickly.

    i'm not trying to get you to admit...i wasn't alleging that someone had reduced the size and so someone had to "admit" to it. i made a statement, not an allegation.

Sorry friend Babyblue, but I have to applaud Invictus for this move. A resized pic can fit nicely in that slot.

Where in what I said does it show so obvious that I am not? It was very sincere.

However, I think he is generous. If it was my call, they would be removed completely. As cute as some of those pics are, most contribute zero to our history forum.

The fact of the matter is that huge sig pics will cause browsing problems for many users, and as long as that's an issue, they can't be allowed.  (I know I personally find them very annoying)

As the others have said, you are actually quite lucky that you're allowed to have any sig pics at all.  Many forums prohibit their use for the simple fact that they have no real benefits to outweigh the problems they can cause for many (especially those with slower i-net connections or browsers).

If you are not able to edit the size of your sig, then make it known, so that someone may edit it for you.

who uses 800 x 600?!

maybe you could conduct polls or something.. 150 250 350 etc..

i'm not sure.. i can't really tell.. it hurts my eyes, but there isn't much choice under 125 

I do have another picture under 125.. it's 1.68 MB.. hmm..

who uses 800 x 600?!

20% of the ppl on this board uses 800 resolution. It's the second most popular resoluation.

The sig size won't change for the larger.
