I don't think we can easily label Turkish music as "Middle-Eastern".

Turkey has ties to various regions, so its culture is effected by Balkan, Caucaus, Mediterranean and Central Asia.

The local music of Aegean has some Greek aspects in it, while the local music of Eastern Anatolia has Caucaus elements.

Turkish Art Music (Trk Sanat Mziği) or Ottoman Music is the one that we can definitely call Mid-Eastern.

Turkish-Persian-Arabic trio is okay, IMHO Indian music is far away from being similar to middle eastern music.

just look at melodies, meaning
