). Ok. But what about being white, and light eyed. What is the advantage? Why not just be black as well? After all, the sun shines 12 hours a day on average in every spot of the planet, and it may be colder in europe, but being blinded by a low sun isn't all that either

Brown eyes were first, and still blue eyes developed (even though brown eyes are dominant genes). Why?
