Hello everybody,

My name is  Tom Bengston.
I live in Reno, Nevada
My interests are wood carving, Viking era history and swordsmanship.
I have entered this forum before but forgot my user information....oops

I am doing research to write a book (historical fiction) about a man and a woman who lived in scandinvavia between the years 1015 and 1070.

I am looking for information of all kinds that will fit this location right down to how the climate was in those years, famines, draughts, storms.

The politics and religions of Scandinavia are of particular inportance.
I would also like to know how a Swedish merchant would have operated in that time period.
