The secret of the Singapore success

The success was the fruit of Chinese and discipline and hard work...

The success is because of the same party ruling from 30 years.....

 The success is because the GOVT is not effected by political correctness and self destructing liberalism..
  The success is because effective and truthfull discrimination of people who are genuinely danger to its existence

The secret lies in its terrific geographic location, controlling the Malacca straits (one of the 4 key locations of maritime trade routes, along with the Suez and Panama canals and the straits of Hormuz), which makes Singapore a major trade hub. Of course, political stability and hard work help a lot, but that's not always enough.

Lee Kwan Yew was given an honourable PhD in law just the other day at the ANU, some socialist groups decided to protest against it because of Singapores "lack of human rights". I really felt like hurting them.

In a good location strategically and one that is likely to grow even more in economic importance. A mix of totalitarian and democratic systems which have encouraged discipline, a strict legal system which has little tolerance for crime, Heavy investment in infrastructure and health care and education. Not to mention peoples who hail from highly disciplined and hard working societies that encourage education.

well.. maybe u are rite..

but can it due to the reason of the size of the country and the number of its population make it easier for the government to govern everything (people, resources, financial issues).
Can refer to other small size countries which are doing quite well.. e.g: Monaco, Brunei and etc..

Maybe from the physical development S'pore looks successful in tht matter, but the same family rules for more 30yrs? i dont think it proves democracy is being applied transparently.

So a Singaporean speaks his mind..  Instead of running a country, Lim Dynasty looks like running the biggest corporation in SE Asia.. which is very well done.
