Frederick Louis, Prince of Wales, was the eldest son of King George II and Queen Caroline of Great Britain.
Frederick died at the age of 44 in 1751. He predeceased his father. George II died in 1760 and was succeeded by his grandson, George III, Frederick's eldest son.
Suppose Frederick Louis, Prince of Wales outlives his father, George II. Thus in 1760 he succeeds to the throne. With Frederick I as King, would the American colonies rebel against England?
Prince Frederick Louis was not the heir to the throne his parents wanted.
He was not the military type. He preferred writing poetry to fighting wars, and was a talented musician.
