Most of us who love history probably also love people watching. I always have fun going to a public place, usually by myself, sitting with a coffee and just watching all the people who pass by - wondering what their stories are and so on.

These are an interesting series of photographs all taken from the same cafe in Bascarsija, Sarajevo. It's near the point where Saraci meets Ferhadija, where - quite literally - East meets West. It's probably one of the most interesting places in the world to people-watch. Share some of your own, please!
