There are some old stories in the Persian literature which have Greek origin, I mentioned one of them in this thread The love story of Vameq and Azra.

Another one which is interesting for me is a long story by the great Persian poet Jami, Jami begins his book by this poem:

Shahriari bud dar Yunan zamin
Chun Sekandar sahebe taj o negin

He talks about an ancient Greek king who was as great as Alexander of Macedonia, the name of the king is said to be Hermanos, of course the story is about his son Salaman and his lady love Absal, were they real historical figures?

The story sounds very legendary, the role of the goddess of the sea, the magic pipe and other things can show that these are just some mythical figures, it can be a Philosophical story, Avicenna, Nasir al-Din al-Tusi and some other Persian philosophers have talked about this story, there is also an ancient Greek philosopher named Eklikulas? in this story.

First we must have some idea concerning the meaning of Hermanos, which can rightly be found to mean, "Warrior", or "a person of high born rank", etc. Technically "Hermanos", in Spanish means "Brother!", and there is no reason to not consider that it is also thus related to or could mean merely "Man!", and thus correlate with "Ander", which is a part of Alex-ander!
Then you have his son supposedly born by parthenogenesis or more correctly asexual reproduction. One might even call it cloning and it is sometimes only the reproduction process used by gods, etc..

Now of course your story goes on to state that this cloned son was named Salaman, wich is but a cognate of Soloman, Suliman, etc.! And, the story goes on to state that Salaman fell in love with a "woman" named "Absal", which is amazing since the beautiful long haired "son?" of David was named "Absalon!"

Some people have contended that Absalom was a female, or that his beauty could be compared to female, or maybe he had female attributes!

These are the similarities your story has with Biblical subjects of some reknown! It seems too close to deny some connection!
