I'm going to ask for you guys to undertake a rather ambitious project.
Can anyone give me, as much as you can, any reference in Korean historical documents about China? When I say historical documents, I don't mean stuff that modern historians have been writing. I mean court documents in ancient Korea.
1) Who wrote Samgu Yusa, when was it written, all that background stuff please.
2) How was China described? (Not interested in whether it was praised or scolded at. More like info stuff: how was the Chinese government system, etc., described in Samgu Yusa?)
3) Assuming you're in So Cal, why are you still up so late?
Well, not a gazillion I guess. But still asking for lots of info.

1. A buddhist monk named Illyeon who lived during the Goryeo dynasty.
2. It never really talked about the government system save some
stuff about the Emperor, who is usually shown as very moral and in a
good light. IMHO China's shown almost..almost as the "perfect"
land.
3. It's spring break
