As a Graduate of Political Sciences, I always needed a collection of the works of major political thinkers throughout the history. This will be a sticky topic to find the major works of political philosophy. Afterwards, we can read each work and discuss on them. Don't hesitate to contribute. Here's the first ones:

T.W. Adorno, Max Horkheimer, Herbert Marcuse, Walter Benjamin were the most important members of the pre-war Frankfurter Schule, and of the immediate post-war period.
Current and last representative of the original is Juergen Habermas.

In fact, yes I read Habermas about 5 years ago; at that time I thought he was reasonable about the legitimacy crisis of the capitalist state but I don't remember much now, I have to read again. By the way, I wonder why do you see him as such a great mistake like others?
