Topic: Black Buddhism.I found this online,give opinion Posted: 10-Aug-2007 at 01:08 |
Modern Black people of Southern IndiaThis
Negrito or Ethiopian Black initiated the first migration out of Africa.
The next migration was by the Australian Aboriginal. Intermixing
between the two groups produced the people of the Indus Valley, then
the Paleo Mongoloid race or the Mediterranean Black Mongoloid also came
and intermixed, and together, these types made up what is known as India (which means Black).
During the time of the Buddha 2,500 years ago (500 B.C.), Black-African
people were in the seat of world power, but about 500 years ago the
Aryans invaded Northern India causing the native inhabitants to seek
sanctuary in the southern areas of India.
Battles for supremacy in the Indus Valley between these savage white
barbarians and the indigenous Blacks for control of the Black lands
lasted for over 1,000 years, and were recorded in The Rig Veda in the
form of hymns, which were actually prayers to white Gods to defeat the Blacks. Being
unable to defeat the Black Nagas outright because of their advanced
military tactics, these nomadic Ayans resorted to corrupting and
distorting the Ancient Texts written by the Blacks to create this
racist colour caste as a last resort to dominate the Blacks. This
corrupted version of the Black's religion (varna system), ensured their superiority while suppressing the Blacks, in much the same way that their European cousins did later through Christianity and Judaism. These nomadic, uncivilized, barbaric tribes of whites who invaded India were in fact civilized by the Blacks, but like their Greek relatives, these whites overthrew the Blacks and destroyed their magnificent civilization.
1) Woodabi woman from West Africa 2) Ndabele woman from South Africa
After defeating the Black people, the
Aryans (whites) instituted the worst kind of inhumanity in human
history against this group of people, in the form of a caste system
where Black people were treated worst than animals.
This anti-Black caste system was originally called Brahmanism but is better known as Hinduism, the greatest curse to the Blacks (Sutras) of India. This Aryan, Hindu
religion, which is a form of sanctified racism and the source of their
devious, oppressive religious ideology, was designed to control and
enslave the mind, body and soul of the indigenous Black people of India
who had respect for all human beings, and even assured equal status to
women. Although a type of caste system was
already in place before the whites arrived, the Brahmin intensified and
exploited it, putting themselves at the top of the Hindu caste system,
while the heavily exploited, degraded, humiliated,
slave-like, impoverished so called Untouchables who carry the weight
of the entire population on their shoulders, are on the bottom rung of
this social ladder. These Blacks are the worse victims of Hindu society.
Indian society consisted of four basic groups. 1. Brahmins (priesthood) 2. Kshatriyas (the warrior class) 3. Vaishyas (the merchant class) 4. Sudras / Untouchables / outcastes, the hated ones who refused to compromise or surrender to Aryan dominance.

Black Nationalism is just as ridiculous as White, brown, yellow or green. This topic is under scrutiny. No flaming.

the 'race' theory may have some credence at the very beginning of the caste system, but its all theory and I would say only important at that point in time, not relevant for ages of years hence.

do you answer questions? maybe he is greek? Look Hercules is right beside him the most ancient depictions are not black, Gautama is from Nepal, not from the adaman islands. Would it be so surprising people from different parts of the region depict him (or anything else) in their own style or in their own look....

My God! Any religion when get rooted in a particular region its localized soon by many means. One of that is the God shapes. The thing is same be it Lord Shiva, Buddha or Christ. Even in some cases they are combined together with other local (and irregular) figures in name of ART. So does it carry any theory behind such every make?

This is my advice. Just look down in the articles for the signature. If it says Clyde Winters, it is his invention. Please, don't copy and past theirs fantasies on here. He also has others about the Black Chineses and the Black Vikings..... not really serious stuff at all.
As an example, Clyde Winters, didn't know that Mandinga script was invented in the 19th century. He though it was from 500 B.C.
I bet he has some problems with arithmetics... a pitty.

There are actually multiple versions of Buddha venerated simultaneously in East Asia. Each depiction of buddha has a different name, and a different purpose. In any typical buddhist temple in China you will find a Laughing Buddha, a Warrior Buddha, a multiarmed Buddha (which bears a striking resemblance to the Hindu god) and many more. Above you have posted many different types of Buddha.

I'll bet most of the ones you know are from the Nichiren sect of Buddhism. Did you know that Tina Turner is a Nichiren Buddhist?

Thanks for the info, I didn't know about that. Apparently, the Mahayana and Vajrayana traditions have many more Buddhas who represent Boddhisattvas who gained enlightenment after many lives and became Buddhas themselves. The Kamakura, Tang and Vietnamese depictions are of Amitabha Buddha and the Tibetan one is of Vajrasattva Buddha. The Subcontinent and Theravadan Thai depictions are supposed to be of Siddhartha Gautama though.

At one time Buddha was sitting in the ground surrounded by those asking dumb questions. He looked at the sky and having heard nothing worthy of answering all day he got up and walked away without saying anything.
