Which animal represend your nation symbole ?

Ours is in Chile is the Condor, although shared with other countries of the Andes.

Yeah, but I've always thought we're much more of a Koala country. I mean sitting in trees slowly eating leaves all day is the life!

Portugal does not have an "official" animal, but the dragon is the most common animal representation we have (probably because St. George is the patron-saint of Portugal), as can be seen by this example:

 

An interesting note is that, as far as I am aware, the Kangaroo is the world's only legally edible national animal.

A bird for us - the Swallow: They often fly extremely low over peoples heads even. Fast and manuverable buggers at that aswell.

We have three lions on our coat of arms and coins aswell who are officially Leopards, go figure! Although a leopard nor a lion is our national symbol.

The Estonian agricultural minister announced the contest for electing the "national fish" some time ago, don't know if it ever got anywhere, hope not.
