I'm Daniel Myers, and new to these boards.
I'm 19, and am a Civil Engineering student at the University of Oklahoma.
I was entirely homeschooled, and have studied history intensively. I specialize in American history to the Civil War, and pre-Alexandrian ancient and Biblical history.
Politics: complex. Right wing mostly, isolationist, if you want to catagorize me.
I'm active in the Europa Universalis modification area, making historical scenarios for it.
From Norman, Oklahoma, US. I've always lived here. There. Whatever.

Welcome, Daniel, welcome... finally! It seems we've attracted someone other than the usual hippies! Always great to see other Civil War enthusiasts! Entirely homeschooled you say? Interesting... what was that like?

Well, I'm biased-- I think it is the best way to go by a long shot. Totally different perspective, of course; a lot of religious history, not politically correct in any way. And I'm not that much a Civil War enthusiast, but provided the coding know how and Southern constitutional perspective.

Bah, I feel like an old buffer reading this, being 21. Just began studying engineering, and don't really do much productive otherwise.

Hello!
Just a feeling I had. BUt that was rather because I found you knowledgeable, not dry (or now when you say it ).

Hello, everyone, I'm Wespe (23,male) from Guangzhou, southern China. But currently studying abroad in Malta. It's glad to find this forum by rambling search. For a long while I've been fascinating of various catalogs of history. Genearally from Western medieval eras to Orient dynasties (Certainly I'm just with amateur basis so far but I still stick to the path on exploring and learning, whatsoever, interest brought.)
