Does Pyramid means Mountain or Hill in Serbo-Croatian dialect of Bosnia?

Helix I had a thread about this a while ago but it got closed. It'll be
interesting. Osmanagic is a little eccentric but we have the world's
top archeologists coming this year so the preliminary excavations and
satellite imagery must've been convincing enough for at least an
excavation.
Personally I think it's going to be one face of a pyramid that doesn't
go any deeper into the earth than the stairs and the old Royal Temple
from the Bosnian Kingdom era on top, perhaps on the ruins of a Roman
fortress or Illyrian temple.
A lot of famous people have come out and said they think it's a pyramid, though, so we'll see.
The latest I saw was that Landsat imagery confirmed the hill has
perfectly geometric, 45 degree angle, sides - at least three with the
side going into the range behind undetermined.

Here's the official website, by the way. There are countless imitations, but this is the official one.

Bosnian pyramids? When do they think these pyramids were built and who built them? Someone mentioned a temple being on top of one of them, are these pyramids more similiar to a Meso-American pyramid than an Egyptian one?

No idea, R_AK47. The guy who started this thinks they're Illyrian pyramids.

Is there any sort of datation? Does the pottery found meet any other existing culture? Do you have a direct to a site on the excavation (hopefully in English)?

Pyramid tunnels? Looks like tunnels carved out from rock to me.
This is a pyramid tunnel:
I won't believe these hills are pyramids until they have been stripped from dirt and earth so you can see the structure.

they do appear man made, don't they. I'm also interested in what they find, particularly the dating of the site.
there was another thread about this about a month ago. I sincerely hope that our forumers can behave a little bit better this time around. there has yet to be a comprehensive study, little data,. and no real science done yet, let's all hold opinions until some of that is done and we know more about what we are talking about.

and no real science done yet, '
/ yes they have done som real science like digging and analaysing the soil, they have found around 15 anomalies in the soil, they have found material which indicate that there is a stone construction under the hill

I haven't ever seen a mountain or hill that looks so much as a pyramid... except one mountain of Northern Albania posted in this forum in a topic on mountains.

Osmanagic's book has a whole bunch - but it wasn't clear if he thinks they're all pyramids.
There's no doubt he's a little crazy... but crazy people still stumble
upon great things. In any event, these excavations are going to dig up
a lot about the old Bosnian Kingdom's palace on Mount Visocica. They're
going to reveal an elaborate and old subterrainian tunnel system -
they've talked about in the 70s of kids going in one hole and coming
out another on a whole another hill, etc.
There's something there and the more time that passes and the more
official, respectable people that see what evidence has been gathered
so far and decide to come and take a look, the bigger it seems it could
be.
