Iranians at home and abroad listen to Turkish music. I have heard of her too and I know a few of her worshippers.
At Iranian parties they play Persian, Kurdish, Arabic, Greek and Turkish music.

My choices would be (let me see):
Edip Akbayram - Nisha Karabucak (out of old singers)
(Old) Sinan Ozen - Feridun Duzagach - Yildiz Tilbe - Murat GogeBakan - Murat Kekilli
That's for the time being. These are what I always listen...

We gave up your happiness
Your hope would be enough;
we couldn't find neither;
we made up sorrows for ourselves;
we couldn't be consoled;

Well, I like Rock. That's why you see Murat Kekilli here! I prefer his 'ayrilik vakti geldi' (2004).
Shebnam Ferah and Haluk Levent are also good.
