I was chilling with an Iranian friend, he put on some music and said its popular among Iranians, it was Ebru Gundes, is she popular among Iranians? or was he just making it upLOL

I LUVVVV HER!! well yeah she is populair but not more populair then Iranian singers some arab singers are also populair like nancy ajram, Haifa Wehbi and Ruby :P Of the Turkish singers Ismail Yk is also populair :P BOMBABOMA!!! :P

Iranians at home and abroad listen to Turkish music. I have heard of her too and I know a few of her worshippers.

At Iranian parties they play Persian, Kurdish, Arabic, Greek and Turkish music.

But lets stay fair about 80% is Persian music on those parties same on the tv networks about 70% is persian and 30% is English, Turkish, Kurdish and Arabic :)

Edip Akbayram - Nisha Karabucak (out of old singers)
 
(Old) Sinan Ozen - Feridun Duzagach - Yildiz Tilbe - Murat GogeBakan - Murat Kekilli
 
That's for the time being. These are what I always listen...
