wat u guys think i shod major in??!?!?!?!?! im panicking cuz i have no clue wat i wana be!!! |
I didn't either, rushed into it on a half arsed decision, and after two course changes dropped out due to extreme boredom.
If you don't know, talk a year off, work, do the gap year thing, whatever, and think about it.
The last thing you want is to feel traped in a course doing something you don't really like doing and not getting anywhere.
Anyways, i have a two thirds complete (and indefinitly postponed) uni
degree (with the credit supposedidly saved somewhere), no idea where
that sits on your list.

Curretnly a junior at Rutgers University (public ivy) as a history major. I used to be an art minor but it would have been more work for a useless degree. I do not know if I will go to graduate school but if I do I will probably get a masters in either Central Asian, East African, or 19th century history. Oddly enough Im really only going to school because my parents really want me too. I want to be a political cartoonist so I dont really need a university education.

Realisticly, you don't need a university degree for lots of things, but with society being elitist the way it is, it helps.

Forced you!
Actually they told me for each person I get to sign up into AE, I will get a $50 check!
Kidding, i just love this forum so i might have talked to my friends about it one by one. cahaya, Im an accountant, so same here. You don't have to be a history guy to enjoy history. If they paid historians more than what they do now, I might have ended up a with a history major!

BS Degree in Electrical Engineering... graduated this May
I can't say that I don't like it but sometimes it just seems like I
have to do a lot of work depending on what job I land. The first two
years it seemed like I would simply do good and all options would be
open to me. Now that Ive graduated im seeing life a bit different and
here in NY is getting harder and harder to have a decent stable job.
Will proabably work for a couple of years and then master in business but I just dont see myself as another corporate thug.

Surely there must be someone familiar with the English education system who can help me out with my question.
