Having watched the increasingly popular Black Panther movie, as a historian I immediately started thinking of the history of African tribes, the weapons they used, the Armour and clothing, and how it compared to ancient African tribes still in existent today.

Having said that, I am not an expert in African history. I am more a Celtic and European historian. While I do know a bit about Africans history, I would like some opinions.

In my non-African knowledgeable view of history, I thought there were some parts of the movie that’s were accurate and some that needed improvement. That said, I realize it is a movie and had some embellishments that were added to increase the fun of the movie, but I do enjoy picking apart movies and would like to see what you guys think.Tongue
