Thanks. I've seen this before, and it still puzzles me that they have chosen Chitzen Itza over Tikal. Maybe it is because it is more accessible and well known. But Tikal is way more impressive. Another snub is definitely Ankor, again, far more impressive than some of the other contestants. But the majority has spoken, I guess.
(But I'm not talking about the seven wonders of Nature here, just the new seven wonders)
 
By the way, Grand Canyon just gotta be one of them. It's only 26 th at the moment. There must be some kind of public awareness about this thing in the Phillipines because many of the top contenders are from there!!!
