ANNOUNCING THE ESTABLISHMENT OF THE ALL EMPIRES INSTITUTE FOR EARLY MODERN HISTORY

In an effort to increase participation in the Early Modern & Imperial Age Forum, the "Institute" has been created to encourage posting and discussion in the history of the period 1500 - 1800.

This is NOT a separate forum.  Discussion will be in the Early Modern & Imperial Age Forum as before.

There is no formal organization, and there are no special protocols.

All are welcome to participate.

Special topics, ongoing topics and areas of partcular interest can develop as this project moves forward.

Discussion should concentrate on, or substantially overlap, the period 1500 - 1800.

Administrators and moderators encourage participation and responsible discussion.  Thanks and have fun.

Paul:

Those are terrific ideas for topics.  This is exactly the type of thing we need rather than slamming everyone and everything based on some contemporary agenda!
