Frieda Birnbaum became the oldest woman (at age 60) in the United States to deliver twins by C-section in New Jersey. Mom, Dad and both babies are all doing fine. The couple, married for 38 years, were already the parents of three other children, ages 33, 29 and 6. She underwent IVF (in vitro fertilization) in South Africa so their youngest son, age 6, could have siblings closer to his age. I think it’s a great option for women to have available if they wish to do so. How do you feel about having children so late in life?
